We have decided to run this patch again, but to flip the colours and offer this version 2.

Again the monies raised will be going towards Leeds Women's Aid

Who are Leeds Women's Aid?
Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is an independent charity, formed in 1972, providing services to women and children affected by Domestic Violence & Abuse (DV & A). We provide a range of the very best services for vulnerable women and families who are victims and survivors of: domestic, sexual & honour based violence and abuse; forced marriage; trafficking; stalking and harassment.

In 2022 they are currently working on a fundraising project, here is the appeal:

To mark our 50th year, we have launched a fundraising appeal to raise funds for a new children’s outdoor play area and dedicated tranquil garden space for residents at one of our refuges to rest, recover and connect with others. This safe, relaxing outdoor environment will help clients as part of their recovery from the effects of domestic violence and abuse.
Residents have stressed the importance of a garden to them, with one client valuing the outdoor space as “a place I can connect with my children”.
To help us achieve our 50th anniversary goal of raising £50,000 to complete the refurbishment of Emmeline’s garden, we would love to raise £10,000 towards the project through this appeal.
